CONVENTION CENTER TOOLKIT
California has long been a premiere destination for corporate meetings, industry conventions, and other business gatherings. While the meetings and events business previously provided $4.6 billion in economic impact and more than 270,000 jobs to its communities in California, it has since been devastated by the coronavirus pandemic. CalTravel and the California Convention Center Coalition are committed to reopening conventions, tradeshows, and events responsibly by prioritizing the health and safety of staff and guests. Below, you’ll find a variety of resources, including a safe reopening plan, which we hope will support a decision to reopen conventions in a timely manner and serve as a framework for any guidance set forth by the state.
