California Comeback Task Force Meeting

The California Comeback Task Force meets twice a month to share the latest news and stats, hear insights from guest speakers, and have valuable conversations that will help guide recovery efforts. At the April 26 meeting, Olivia Frary, Senior Director of Marketing at JUV Consulting, will share Gen Z’s perspective on tourism, politics, work, and life.

Olivia Frary is a 22-year old California native from the Coachella Valley, part of the Class of 2022 at the University of Southern California. She is the proud daughter of Swedish and Mexican immigrants, a social entrepreneur, and a professional Gen Z strategist.

She has always been passionate about helping those around her and giving back to her community since she started a nonprofit in high school providing mentorship for over 200 students. While in quarantine, she co-founded an organization called COVID Community Care, offering free in-home childcare to medical workers on the front lines. It has expanded to serve medical workers in Los Angeles, Orange County, San Diego, Seattle, Reno, and Coachella Valley.

Previously, she worked with CA Assemblymember Eduardo Garcia as well as was a member of the City of Palm Desert’s Youth Committee.

Currently, Olivia works full-time as Senior Director of Marketing for JUV Consulting, purpose-driven Generation Z consultancy that works with clients to help them connect authentically with younger audiences. Olivia specializes in west-coast business development, community building, and partnerships. She has worked with Fortune 500 companies across industries to strategize product launches, ideate campaigns, and educate teams about Generation Z’s values.
