Tourism Advocacy Day & Summer Board Meeting

EVENT DETAILS

SAFE Credit Union Convention Center
1400 J Street
Sacramento, CA 95814

Join us in Sacramento for Tourism Advocacy Day and the CalTravel Summer Board Meeting. The program includes CalTravel's quarterly board meeting, committee meetings, legislative meetings, guest speakers, and unique networking opportunities.

Tourism Advocacy Day allows us to speak with legislators in small groups about the importance of travel and tourism and our most pressing issues. This event is vital to raising our visibility and helping us advance and promote California tourism in Sacramento.

CalTravel board meetings are free, open to all members, and a great way to stay informed and connected all year long.

WE MAKE ADVOCACY EASY

On the afternoon May 17, help us raise our voice to demonstrate the power of the tourism industry, share our message, and develop stronger relationships with legislators. Together our voices are stronger and louder.

Participating is easy, so don’t be intimidated! CalTravel will offer Tourism Advocacy Day participants two advance virtual training sessions, as well as an in-person training the day of the meetings. CalTravel will put together the groups, schedule the meetings, create the meeting materials, and prep you to make sure you have everything you need for a successful, informative, and fun day. After meetings conclude, all participants are invited to attend a reception with legislators and industry friends.

Whether you're a first-timer or an experienced advocacy veteran, we will make sure you have a great experience.
