California Connections: Building California's Next Coastal Connector

REIMAGINE HOW WE MOVE ALONG THE SHORE

California’s coastline has always been a symbol of connection, but today it faces unprecedented challenges in mobility, sustainability, and community access. Pier to Pier is reimagining how Californians and visitors move along the shore—launching the state’s first ferry service from Malibu to Long Beach and expanding toward Will Rogers State Beach.

Join us virtually on January 27, as Pier to Pier Chair Patricia Keeney Maischoss explores how civic infrastructure can be both visionary and practical, blending public agency missions with private innovation to create lasting impact.

Participants will walk away with a fresh perspective on how California can connect its coastline—pier to pier, community to community, and vision to reality.
